Step Back in Time with the Portville Historical Society

Thursday, August 6– Come step back in time and see what a child’s life was like. Over 160 years ago there were no busses or cars, no cafeteria, paper was scarce and you had one teacher for all grades 1-6. Children used the outhouse when they had to go! But, there was always time for a little playing during recess!!
For the library session, you’ll hear what school was like back then. Materials and illustrations for lessons will be provided. This session will be here at the Portville Free Library with the Portville Historical Society at 6:00.
