The Day the Balls Went on Strike

Local author, Gia George MacCartney, will be at the library on November 14 to read her self-published book The Day the Balls Went on Strike.  Gia is a 2013 PCS graduate and is presently teaching Physical Education in Wellsville.  Trying to read to her students monthly, she discovered that there weren’t many books available for her PE classes. She decided she would try her hand at writing a book herself. With the help of watching YouTube videos she succeeded at writing this book.  She will be at the library at 11:00 on November 14 to read her book.  Come and hear about the time that the balls went on strike.
